Matt Hicks

Bio

Matt Hicks is an attorney who specializes in contract and insurance matters across Oklahoma. Before joining Aizenman Law Group in 2024, Matt owned and operated a successful insurance business in North Carolina. During that time, he helped hundreds of policyholders across multiple states recover almost $100 million from their insurance companies over a five-year period.  Matt also holds insurance appraiser and umpire certifications from several leading industry organizations, further strengthened his ability to advocate for clients in insurance disputes.

In addition to his background in the insurance industry, Matt has significant experience in transportation, both before and after law school. He has worked for some of the largest trucking companies in the nation, both in management roles and as a defense attorney. This unique combination of experience gives him a practical understanding of complex legal issues, which he uses to benefit his clients.

An Oklahoma native, Matt earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he was an active student leader. He served as a student ambassador in the admissions office, a class representative for the Student Bar Association, and Vice President of the Native American Law Students’ Association. He also earned degrees from Tulsa Community College and Oklahoma State University.  As a lifelong learner, Matt is furthering his education by pursuing a Master of Laws degree in Insurance Law from the University of Connecticut College of Law.

After spending several years working out of state, Matt felt a strong desire to return to Oklahoma and give back to the community that shaped him. Joining Aizenman Law Group has provided him with the opportunity to use his extensive experience to help Oklahomans navigate complex legal challenges and secure the outcomes they deserve.

When Matt isn’t practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tiffani, and their three adult sons, who also call Oklahoma home.
